On Monday, October 29, 2018, Head of the Chemistry Department organized a farewell party to honor Dr. Anis Wadie Shurji – a lecturer from the Department of Chemistry in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin A. Jamil-President of the University of Zakho and Dr. Maher Kh. Ali-Dean of the Faculty of Science and Faculty Members of the Department. The purpose of this party was to acknowledge his role in the process of education.
In this ceremony, he was awarded by two awards from the President of the University and Dean of the Faculty of Science.
